The Kokonoe Yume Suspension bridge holds two records - it is both the highest, and longest suspension bridge in the world. From the bridge you have spectacular views including of Shindon falls which is listed in the top 100 waterfalls in Japan and Kyusuikei famous for its autumn foliage.
The bridge is a particular favourite for tourists in Autumn. While the bridge accommodates 1,800 people the bridge apparently does sway a bit with that number of people so if you're prone to vertigo or have problems with heights that is something you should keep in mind if you decide to visit.
