Held only at two temples in the entire country, this festival prays for a good harvest and good health. It is a long event, featuring men in fundoshi (loincloths) purifying themselves in a river, giant flaming torches being rammed into each other, and ritual dancing by priests; the main event is two priests dressed up as red and black demons, running around the wooden temple and smacking the audience with flaming torches.
